Mae bachu diddordeb ac ymrwymo’r gymuned yn fy ngwaith yn elfennol i fy ngwaith, gyda chyfleoedd i drafod, synhwyro a meddwl.

Community engagement is a core part of my practise, with provocations, interactive installations, and artist-led discussions.

ENGHRAIFFT: Pentref Perffaith

Pentref Perffaith is a project that opens up a conversation of what community, heritage and sustainability means to each of us as individuals and as a collective. Artist-led discussions and creative workshops give space for possibility and optimism, as participants examine our shared values and co-devise the ‘perfect’ place for surviving and thriving.

Mae Pentref perffaith yn gofyn sut fyd hoffech fyw ynddo? Pa elfennau o’r treftadaeth y rhannwn sydd angen eu cynnal a’u cadw? Pa gyfleoedd sydd gennym wrth ddyfeisio byd delfrydol i greu byd sy’n cyd-fynd a’n hegwyddorion?

This project was run in 2018 as an intergenerational community engagement project in collaboration with Pontypridd Museum, young people of the town and local community groups: the 50+ forum, Trevallis Housing Association, University of South Wales and Coedylan Primary School. Funded by the Esmee Fairbearn Foundation.
